Today, the Trump Administration announced its proposed budget for FY2018. As feared, it has taken the unprecedented action of calling for the entire elimination of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), as well as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
The Bring your Lunch and Learn series continues on Wednesday, March 8 with Dr. Marjorie Miles, DCH,MFT. She is an Author, Dream Coach and Creative Writing Mentor, has been interviewed on the radio and has appeared on television and in film. She is a well-known dream expert, featured with director Wes Craven, in the documentary movie, Night Terrors. As a writer, and former psychology professor, Dr. Marjorie loves helping people bring their unique voice and story to life. A gifted teacher from Huntington Beach, she is listed in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers”.
Any uncertainty about the future of the promised Anaheim Performing Arts Center was put to rest on February 21st at a gathering of some seventy local decision makers in the home of Dr. Howard Knohl. The purpose was to share the current progress towards the realization of the Arts Center.
